The Mafia(s)!

This is gonna be a shortie post. About Mafias.
Yup.

So today I saw a preview for the new show on Discovery Channel called.....AMISH MAFIA!
WHAT?!?! No freakin way!!
I'm actually kind of excited about this one! I hated Breaking Amish because it was extremely fake in my opinion. But this one, I hope they can make me believe that it's legit!
Anyway, here's the trailer!

This thing comes out December 12 at 9/8, and I will be watching!
Probably do a baby review of it on here afterwards because I'm so excited.
I have a slight obsession with Amish people. Tyler has Amish neighbors and their little children bring us veggies and baked goods. Like delicious bread. Anyway, the kids are so cute with their little overalls and bonnets! Oh and the accents. I live in the same county as these people, how they still have accents is beyond me, but they do and it's adorable.
They're just fascinating.

AND THEN: There's this new (I think its new..?) song, that I'm sure I am the last to know about, but I'm gonna share it anyways.
It's Don't You Worry Child by Swedish House Mafia, and ohhh me gusta!
I love the "Don't You worry child, see Heaven's got a plan for you" part. It's something I keep having to tell myself as lately I have come across several obstacles that brought some difficult decisions to me. And I get so stressed out about them. Things don't go my way and I need to calm down and realize that there's a plan for me, and apparently my idea doesn't contribute to that plan. I need to let God take care of it and just chill out for a sec and take a breather. That's definitely something that I struggle with the most!
So Anyway, have fun with this song if you haven't heard it, cuz I think it's grand.

So yeah, I really don't have anything that has gone on in my life that is worth writing about to the general public.  I had Thanksgiving break, and that was aweseommeeeeee!! Mainly because I got to spend the majority of it with my main squeeze and go shopping. I got almost everyone shopped for, except my mom. And then I got sick, and that is still happening in my throat :/

But I only have 5 school days left of the semester, then 3 days of finals and I get to go home on the 11th of December until the 14th of January! And THAT makes me verrry happy.
Here's some pics from my recent happenings..

First off, My Obsession for all things Duck Dynasty continues. I sent this one to Ty because he said when we get married he gets to call me Ms. K, because I'll be Mrs. Knicley..clever, I know :P

Thanksgiving!

Evansville is cold.

These were my nails a few weeks ago, yay fall!

And lastly, I wrapped presents :D

Be kind to one another :)

Complaining. Thankfulness. SCIs. And Funnies.

I have a hard time when it comes to feeling sorry for myself. I kinda suck at it. Allow me to explain what I mean in photo form.

So Yeah, I am all the time having to remind myself of this. Whenever I complain about my car, or not having enough jeans, or being alone too often, or hating my art class.
Today though I complained about an intense migraine that lasted a good solid 12 hours. And I'm pretty positive that I get getting these dang things because of the brand of birth control my pharmacy switched me to. Which is some bull on its own. But anyway, I find I complain way too much and I should be more Thankful for the things that I do have. It is after all November, the Month of Thanks. (As well as No Shave November!!!)
Speaking of being thankful, I am also thankful for being able to meet and get to know (in real life) the amazing young lady from my home county that appears in this video.
This is Sabrina. And she is an awesome person and she is going through some pretty heavy junk right now, like having a Spinal Cord Injury. In the video, she talks about what happened during the wreck, while she was in the hospital, and how she is progressing now. She is 5 months into her recovery since her wreck and she is so darn brave and her story is inspiring to me in so many ways. Like how I need to be more thankful for little things. She is so positive and open about her situation.
Anyway, another reason I am posting this video is because she asks that people do so. She wants to try to help people understand her story as well as hopefully give some support to people going through an injury similar to hers. She really is a delightful person and I recommend that you watch this video and maybe even pass it on to your social networks. You never know who something like this could help.  Also, here is a link to Sabrina's blog where she talks about her recovery as well as normal blog type stuff: www.sabrinadellinger.blogspot.com
I remember when Sabrina got in her wreck. She, in a way, was the first of many very sad things to happen in my county. Sabrina got in her wreck, which devastated so many people in my county. Then one of my very good friends Jessica was hit by a drunk driver. Which caused her to have to have an emergency c-section and deliver her daughter, whom she didn't get to see for a few days because she was life-lined to a larger hospital without her baby. Jess also broke her ankle in the wreck as well. Both her a baby are doing good now, Jess is still working on healing her ankle though. Then a few weeks later a family friend crashed into the side of a semi (a lesson to everyone that drinking and driving is never a good idea!) He is ok now, but is still learning how to walk. In the same 24 hours, another girl my age from my county was hit by a van while she was riding her motorcycle. Unfortunately after a few weeks she passed away. That girl was a huge part of my tiny county and she left a major impact on this Earth. The final thing to happen in my county so far was my 2 year old neighbor boy drowned in his family's backyard pool.
I mention these things because too often we forget to just stop and be thankful for the people around us. It is so dumb to have petty fights with people. Family, friends, you never know when the last time you will see them is. I am so thankful for the people that do make it out of accidents alive, and I still pray for all the people from my community recently impacted by losses. I cannot stress enough how important wearing a seat belt and/or a helmet is. Just think about what it would be like if you never go to see your family again. Put your seat belt on, you never know what is around the corner.
I digress. I want to end this post on a lighter note, so I will post a few pics, as usual.
First off, this video was taken by me in the physics class I am in. Our teacher blew up a trash can using a mt. dew bottle and liquid nitrogen in a Forum full of 250 kids. This video doesn't even begin to display how freakin loud this thing was!! It was intense and you can hear a few of us freak out at the end of the video. It was magical.

And then some random pics.
I did my roomie's nails for Halloween, I do not like how the ghost turned out, but the rest are cute!
Not so random, these are my nails right now. Because I am bored as crap.
This just makes me giggle.
This weekend I really need to work on some papers. I will be staying on campus, so I am gonna have wayy too much time on my hands. I also think that I get to put together a photo album for a lady, and then get paid! Woo! But anyway, now I must sleep. Goodnight all.
Much Love,
